What is Day Camp?
Day Camp is an outdoor adventure for kids who have completed K-5th grades that includes Bible Study, swimming, games, music, friends and fun. Day Camp is part of the total Christian Education program and Anniston First United Methodist Church. Day Camp is an opportunity to meet friends and experience God in a natural setting.
Where is the Day Camp Held?
Day Camp is held at Camp Lee’s Lee Farm area. Parents will drop off their campers at the second entrance marked “Lee Farm” between 8:50am and 9:00am. Parents may pick up their campers beginning at 2:00pm. All campers must be picked up by 2:15pm or additional charges will be applied.
How much does Day Camp Cost?
The cost for a one week, Monday through Friday, camp is $80.00. The cost is completely non-refundable and must be paid in full to reserve your child’s reservation.
When is Day Camp 2008?
Week 1: June 2-6 K, 1st & 2nd Graders
Week 2: June 9-13 3rd, 4th & 5th graders
Week 3: June 16-20 K, 1st & 2nd Graders
Week 4: June 23-27 3rd, 4th & 5th graders
Week 5: July 7-11 K, 1st & 2nd Graders
Week 6: July 14-18 3rd, 4th & 5th graders
(The grades indicated above are for children who have COMPLETED those grades)
Total enrollment per week is 30 campers. First United Methodist Church Day Camp reserves the right to cancel if there are less than 20 campers enrolled in a week. A full refund will be given if First United Methodist Church Camp Lee Day Camp cancels.
Schedule will include:
Bible Study Daily
Swimming Pool Time Daily
Game Field Recreation Daily
Rock Slide and Creek Walk
· One change of clothes to keep at camp, stowed in a labeled large Ziploc bag.
· A modest swimsuit and towel every day.
· Sack lunch (please no lunch boxes to keep up with) and drink everyday. Water cooler is provided.
· Sturdy tennis shoes…NO SANDALS
· Extra old shoes/aquatic shoes for creek walks.
· Bug Spray and sunscreen
· A smile and happy heart!

Make checks payable to Camp Lee and write “Day Camp” and your child’s name on the memo line of the check.
